GETTING A NEW CAGE FOR MY COCKATIEL, GOLDIE ---------------------------------------
After many weeks worth of research online, and at local pet stores, I decided to check out EBay.com I did a search for "bird cages" and was astounded by the selection and low prices available. My dilemma: can I trust the seller, the description of the product? and what if my bird didn't like the cage? I had purchased a bird cage for my cockatiel last year and she didn't like it at all. She begged to be out of that cage for days, and finally I put her back in her old cage. So why would she like a larger cage from a store at ebay? I just had to take a chance ask the seller my questions and was satisfied with my answers. Of course I made sure the cage bars, and size of the cage were appropriate for my cockatiel. Actually, the cage is for 2 or more cockatiels, so I knew she'd love the extra room. Finally, I placed my order. I made payment with my PayPal account, and 3 days later my birds mansion arrives. I was so excited! Now it was time to get the cage in order -- place the food trays, toys, and perches inside. I felt like a true home designer - for my baby that is. I waited 'til morning to introduce my Goldie to her new home. To my surprise there was no hesitation getting her off my arm and into the new cage. She must've felt like she was being put into a new luxury home! New toys, ladders, mirrors, oh my - the excitement just fluffed up her feathers! She went straight to the ladder, climbed to the top and started to play with a new toy. Goldie shocked me because she rejected her 1st new cage. As you can imagine, her mommy was sooooo pleased! I'm happy with this ebay store, and if you're interested it's called Parrot's Depot at: Just do a search for "Parrot Cages" in the stores section of EBay.com You'll find a long list of Parrot Cages sold on Ebay, and Parrot's Depot is where I found mine. I am in no way affiliated with Parrot Depot on http://stores.ebay.com/. I'm just a very satisfied customer and wanted to share my story with you. By: Birdmaster, Rosita M.
